WakaFast ("we", "our", or "us") provides mobile applications for booking rides and managing trips. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect user data when you use the WakaFast User App or Driver App.

A. User App

• Personal Info: Name, mobile number, email, password
• Location: Real-time GPS for pickup/drop and ETA
• Ride Details: Trip history, scheduled rides, ratings/reviews
• Wallet Info: Payment method, promo codes, transaction history
• Emergency Contacts: For SOS alerts
• Device Info: IP address, model, OS version
• Communication: In-app chat and call data (not recorded)

B. Driver App

• Personal Info: Name, mobile number, email, password
• KYC Documents: Aadhaar, PAN, license, vehicle details
• Real-Time Location: During active trips
• OTP: To start rides securely
• Wallet: Payout preferences, transactions
• Device Info: IP, device model, OS
• Communication: Chat and calls with users

2. How We Use Your Data

• To manage account registration and login
• To enable booking and real-time ride tracking
• To process payments, apply promos, and manage wallets
• To improve support, safety (via SOS), and app features
• To send push notifications and transactional alerts
• To onboard and verify drivers securely
• To provide referral and reward programs

3. Sharing of Data

We do not sell personal data. We share data only when necessary:

• With drivers/riders for completing trips
• With payment processors for secure transactions
• With third-party SDKs for maps, notifications, and OTP services
• With law enforcement or regulators when legally required

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase: Authentication, crash reports, notifications
• Google Maps API: Directions, route calculation
• Payment Gateway: Wallet and card transactions
• Notification SDKs: Ride alerts, alarm-based wakeup

5. Your Rights

• Access or update your data anytime from the app
• Control permissions like location or camera via phone settings
• Request account deletion as described below

6. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account in the following ways:

• Via the in-app "Delete Account" option in the user profile section
• By submitting a request on our Account Deletion Page
• Or by contacting us at wakafastofficial@gmail.com

Once your request is processed, your account and associated data will be permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption, token authentication, and secure APIs to protect data.

8. Data Retention

Data is retained while your account is active. KYC and trip data may be stored for regulatory reasons.

We may revise this Privacy Policy to comply with legal or feature updates. Changes will be posted in-app or on our website.
